Evance turbines generate power for farm in Derbyshire

An arable farm in Derbyshire is now harnessing the wind to contribute to its energy requirements while lowering its carbon footprint using two Evance R9000 turbines. Hallmark Tractors, a distributer for Evance Wind Turbines, supplied and installed the two Evance 5kW wind turbines on 18m towers. The power generated by the turbines will be used to contribute towards the power consumed by the farms grain dryer and the engineering business located on the farm. Any electricity not used will be fed into the national grid.
