Evance Wind Turbines: Evance turbines generate power for farm in Derbyshire

An arable farm in Derbyshire is now harnessing the wind to contribute to its energy requirements while lowering its carbon footprint using two Evance R9000 turbines. Hallmark Tractors, a distributer for Evance Wind Turbines, supplied and installed the two Evance 5kW wind turbines on 18m towers. The latest report on UK Electricity Costs finds that onshore wind is the 'least cost, zero carbon' technology option in the near to medium term. EDP Renewables has broken ground on its third wind farm in Brazil, based in Tramandai, Rio Grande do Sul.
