The latest Vital Signs Online (VSO) report from the Worldwatch Institute indicates that due to increasing costs of production, a slowed demand for electricity, and fresh memories of disaster in Japan, production of nuclear power fell in 2011. Wind Works Power's wind farms, named "Whispering Woods" (10 MW) and "Ganaraska" (20 MW), will be located in Southern Ontario's Oshawa region and able to supply electricity to approximately 60,000 homes on an annual basis. Wind Works Power: Wind Works doubles investment in Wassertrudingen wind energy project in a few months

Wind Works Power Corp. has announce its joint venture partner, EFI Energy Farming International GmbH (EFI), has signed an agreement to sell Wassertrudingen, their 20 megawatt (MW) wind energy project in Germany. Wind Works invested 100,000 Euros in the project in May 2010, and will receive a total of 190,000 Euros over a 12 months period.
