Mott MacDonald, a leading management, engineering and development consultancy, has successfully supported financial close as independent engineer for the first utility-scale wind farm in Thailand, which will also be the largest wind farm in south east Asia. due to increasing costs of production, a slowed demand for electricity, and fresh memories of disaster in Japan, production of nuclear power fell in 2011.

Wind Works Power Corp. has announce its joint venture partner, EFI Energy Farming International GmbH (EFI), has signed an agreement to sell Wassertrudingen, their 20 megawatt (MW) wind energy project in Germany.
Wind Works invested 100,000 Euros in the project in May 2010, and will receive a total of 190,000 Euros over a 12 months period.
