Areva to supply eighty wind turbines to the Borkum West II offshore wind farm

Areva through its subsidiary Multibrid is to supply PROKON Nord with eighty 5 MW wind turbines for the offshore wind farm Borkum West II. The expected sales will exceed 500 million euros. The wind farm is located 45 km north of the Borkum Island in the North Sea. Multibrid will deliver its M5000 wind turbines during 2010 and 2011.
